1. When you start the game, you immediately talk to the fairy guide and ask her about everything to get items, equipments and experience. Accordingly you can save a lot of gold. After that, you tell her that you want to experience things by yourself. She will give you quests that you need to complete and you will be rewarded with items each time you complete one of the quests. As soon as you completed all quest of the fairy, you tell her that you want to leave the island. You should ignore her warnings telling you that you are not ready.
2. You arrive at the plains of adventurer. Do not spend money buying anything yet. You go into town to talk to the mayor and agree on helping him gathering 3 resources. Then you talk to mayor and ask for help to get the view of healing items and helping him. Mayor will give you healing items every time your level goes up by 1. So during this process, you only need to save money. As I remember he will stop giving you stuff when you are level 9. You should make sure you come back to mayor every time you level up to get healing items!
3. Once you are around level 8, you ought to continue the quest that mayor gave you, it is quite straightforward. If you are lost, you can read the episode quest FAQ on this website. Once you finished the quest, you level up if your level are not yet 10. When you are already level 10, you can go to Z to talk to Lena and agree on gathering bronze pieces.
