Skills that apply Stunned allow you to take opponents out of the fight temporarily. Against a single opponent, this ability is of limited value. Against multiple opponents, Stun allows you to reduce the number of enemies who are actively trying to kill you. Note that damage to the afflicted target will remove Stunned, so ensure that you either move away from Stunned enemies or turn away from them before continuing your attacks.
Black Powder and Brawling Along with the three core chains which differ between schools, each school has access to the Black Powder chain and the Brawling chain. These two chains are the same for each school. potbs doubloon is good for you.
Gun skills are almost all single-target only, and cannot be parried. Also, most gun skills trigger a 10 second cool down on your gun. This cool down means that if you are primarily focused on guns, you will need a backup melee attack to supplement your guns while they are cooling down. Brawling skills can be used with any weapon equipped.
The central mechanic of the line is the Brawling Combo. By using preparatory skills, you can stack up to four levels of Brawling Combo effects on your target. These effects have a minor reduction to your targets defense, but effects real purpose is for use with finishing moves.
